This is mostly just to share my build progress on my daughter's Sea Flea (just shy of) 11. It's been wicked fun and my daughter and I have gotten to spend some wonderful time together.
I guess I do have a question about what seems like my next step of screwing, gluing and then pegging the frame together. Just to confirm - am I reading this correct..
My next step is to screw the frame completely together first. Then, when ready to epoxy it, remove the screws, apply the glue and then screw it back together. After 12 hours, remove the screws. Then finally, drill out the holes and peg it.
And, any thoughts on sizes/length/type of wood screw to use?
Anyway, this was a mostly "brag" type of post. ;-) I'm incredibly happy with how it's turned out so far.
