A little progress report. I took the frame off the strong back and carried it outside for a few photos. As with everything I do I learned a good bit.
I lashed 95% of this frame together. Very little glue. I had to glue the stern before I put it on the boat. And I glued the ends of the stringer in place. I think that was all. It seemed to take much longer but when I checked the log on my previous boat I see at this stage I am actually 3 hours ahead.
I spent a lot of time scratching my head on how to build the stern and then a lot of time adjusting and trimming getting it straight with the keel. Next one I will do different. This was not the best way and I see it now. Also I will remember to cut out the lightening hole before I glue it up too.
