I have seen it in Freeship and I stretched an old T-Shirt over to as I worked on it. (BTW, the t-shirt fabric works really good for seeing what it will look like skinned) I think it transitions pretty well. The bow design adds enough room for big feet.
As for looks I wanted this one to stand out as different. When it is seen from a distance I want people to know it's not your 'typical' boat. I started with the typical pointy Greenland bow and stern that I so love but but I keep wanting something different. I started rounding off the bow and kept playing with it till I got something I liked. It looks like Brian's F1 I discovered.
My inspiration for the stern was the old Fan Tail launches. I took that idea and started working on the stern redesign. I am not sure how to sew the skin yet but I really like the way the model looks. Distinctive but still looks like a boat. To me anyway.
