If you're using a Yost design, the frames will be too far apart to work for a stripper. Normally strip built boats frames are on approx. 12" spacing, on a Yost SOF they are 2 to 3 times wider spacing than that.

It's also lots easier to build a round bottom boat as a stripper, lots more work building a hard chine boat with strips.
