I'm very pleased to announce the launching of the new BC Marine Trails Network Association website.
The BCMTNA is working closely with the Province of British Columbia in undertaking this huge task of securing camping spots and safe havens for paddlers along the entire 22,000 km coastline of British Columbia. As you can well imagine, this is an enourmous job and there are some very, very dedicated people involved in the project. This project is extremely important to paddlers as it will ensure that there is access to the entire coastline for generations to come.
To learn more about the BC Marine Trails Network, please visit the website.
We've also set up a new discussion forum at WestCoastPaddler.com for the purpose of submitting photos of campsites that you've visited during your paddling travels. Your help in identifying campsites will be very much appreciated by the BCMNTA and will help the association to determine the usability of campsites along the coast.
If any of you on the these discussion forums have photos of marine campsites along the coast, you can post them at:

Thanks very much,
Dan Millsip
