Bryan, here is another suggestion. I use a Delorme Topo Maps program but the program doesn't map Canada. These are two of the maps of Royal Island when I was considering sailing around it. The top map is one inch = 8 miles and the bottom map is one inch = 1 mile but you can get down to one inch = 250 feet as I remember. You can snap in longitude and latitude grids so you can find your position using a GPS with the maps and put in L&L at positions you want to stop at. The maps are a lot more legible then they show here.
