After spending 200 hours making the boat why not spend the extra 2 to make the seat?

Tractor supply will sell you a seat too.. if you wanted...

I was very happy with the carving of a mini cell seat. I though half way though that it would be crap. I was happily suprised...
I just followed what Nick had explained in his book.

If you try it and it IS crap, you can always buy a seat after, then you would know you made the right decision.

Both ways are fine and in the end up to you.
Just know that you don't have to buy one.
