I'd thought about that solution :) But I needed a half dozen for the class, would be a bit ungainly with that many sacks of heavy stuff.

I'd tried this last year but without the mid paddle supports and the clamp, no matter how tight, wants to slip off from the sliding force of planing. This works really well and is also really cheap.

I'll try to make up a set of plans and upload them, I'm not great at CAD so have to do it the old fashioned way.
