I am trying to figure how much wood to buy to build a strip build gullimont large by my math it comes out to 100 board ft which seems to be way off considering that the final boat weights less than 45lb. Has any got a different figure. I know almost half is turned into saw dust even with a thin kerf blade stll seems excessive.
