Reading between the lines in your message it seems that you are saying 105/207 doesn't need varnishing at all. Am I reading that correctly?

My impression was that the 207 hardener was more UV resistant than 206 but that it still required varnishing for total protection.

I'd be pretty happy if I have that wrong, not looking forward to the varnishing stage.
