was done by a very enthusiastic CLC employee with a couple years experience when he wrote the review. On the trip mentioned in Maine the rudder cable broke and he had a very hard time maneuvering the kayak. If I was to install a rudder on a double for rough conditions I'd make sure it was bombproof.
