Hi
I've done a number of boats without staples and would suggest that no one way works. I use a combination of U shaped plywood blocks which hold the strip and which I can clamp to the form along with tape, bungie cords, wedges, fishing line, clamps and anything else I can think of to hold strips in position between stations. It really is a case where you are only limited by your imagination -- and for some strips you need a lot of imagination.
