: Titebond II is harder than the wood, so it complicates sanding. Worse is
: where there are excess amounts of glue (because, getting started, I was
: overly liberal) that accumulated against my plastic drip cover -- sanding
: heats it up, so it becomes gunky. Should be less of an issue for me, on

Scrape it off first. See Rob Mack's instructions on the Laughing Loon web site.

Still easier to remove when you're doing the stripping using a damp rag.
