Yeah- they're way overboard on their calculations. I talked to Tony Nuskin, the tech rep for the US distributor, and he said 8 liters of gloss and 1 liter of silk to do a single kayak, but I think that Dick VanZanten said one 375ml. tin per coat, but I went back through emails and couldn't find the info. You can check the Qajaq USA forum, because I know the correct amount to buy has been talked about a lot lately. Coelan doesn't save very well once the packaging has been opened- that's why they sell it in such small tins, but I used Bloxygen on the unused stuff I have and it's preserving fine. It's expensive stuff to buy a big tin and have your leftovers go bad if you buy too much, though.
