I asked my wife to take a look at the pictures. My 1 3/4 yr daughter came to take a look. My daughter got extremely excited and started saying “Parkers kayak!” Pointing at the picture of the max in his kayak! After saying this 6 times she hugged me and put her head on my shoulder whispering "Parkers kayak" I have never seen her react this strongly about anything! This is also the first time she has seen a SOF. She has seen WW boats, Surf boats and has been in one "family double" Pamlico 16 last weekend. Looks like I need to clean out the garage this weekend and start her kayak. I have some lovely Sitka Spruce that I had purchased for my Baddarka but the guy planning and ripping the wood cut one of the gunnel pieces short by 15 in. he joined it with dowels but it started to take the wind out of my sails for this project, now I am thinking of using this for her kayak. Should I do this or buy new cheaper wood for her kayak?
