Thanks John - I should have thought to lighten the photo myself. So, you epoxied individual triangles directly to the hull, and used a guide to space them evenly? I was thinking about building the foot brace as a unit, with the triangles mounted on a piece of plywood - mostly because it seems easier than working inside the boat.... Anyway, I really like the idea.

: The footbraces are simply made from little wooden triangles, with the
: foot-facing edge slightly less than 90 degrees, so they hold the foot well
: during rolling while being comfortable.

: To align them, I created a guide for bottom edge - a stick covered with
: plastic packing tape - and spaced the triangles 2.5" apart on both
: sides.

: Next boats I may get a little fancy rounding the corners more on the blocks,
