Hi,

I thought the same thing & being an Aussie I was surprised I had not heard of it. A bit of a search revealed it is a U.S. company and an explanation about the name is given as:

"The "Roo" name comes from our original adhesive, RooClear™, which originated in Australia. And just in case you were worried, no kangaroos are used in the making of Roo Products!"

Thank god for that. It's OK for us to eat roo but making glue from them is just wrong ;-)
