Finally got to take her for a real paddle and I really like it! I do think I will make a version with a higher rear deck though. There is simple no storage space and while I personally have no problem with the low deck, I strongly suspect the average person will. Just putting your hands on the back deck to reposition yourself, you end up with your hands in the water at the slightest lean.
I love the way it looks and it I can tell that it is faster than my current boat for the same amount of effort at my cruising speeds. Lean turns are great, much better than Wren. I think the 15' length has a big effect on that.
You can see the wrinkles in the hull too. Not as bad as this makes it look though.
