I'm over in Adelaide.

I have a part-completed kayak of my own design (built per Tom Yost's method) I am working on while I solve the problems of steam-bending ribs on the Greenland kayak (kinda build per Wolfgang Brink's method) I am also building.

Just read an interesting post re: adhesive for PVC. Someone suggested the adhesive used to repair swimming pool liners might work & I reckon you'd be able to get it from Clark Rubber.

I would like to use PVC on the boat I designed myself & am looking into the possibility of using adhesive tape, rather than a liquid for the joints. If anything comes of it I'll post the info here.
