I am using the Feathercraft K2 rudder with Sea-Dog rudder control foot braces on a CLC Mill Creek 16.5. The Sea-Dog braces are the same weight as the sliding Yakima braces. Like the Smart Track, Sea-Dog braces are adjustable and the toe pivots to provide control so you have a solid brace. You have your choice of mounting studs or thru hull bolting. I paid $59 for the pair, half the price of the Smart Track and the quality is excellent. I also purchased a standard pair of Sea-Dog's for the front seat for $29.
