: I can't see from your pics where the problem is. Is it the whole boat or just
: the keel? Often I have found, that it has to do with the stringers and/or
: gunwales not being exactly the same length. The boat will twist to
: compensate.
It isn't visible by the pictures, even when you look at the boat it isn't visible. I found the problem with level. I've rechecked the frame frequently with level. When i took it off from the strongback, just before sanding I've checked again, this time the frame wasn't strait. I've started from stern - measuring the gunwales and stringers at each crossection. They are level till crossection 4. On crossection 3 there is small till, on first and second crossection it was even worse to somewhere between 8 and 10 degrees. I have to take picture with level on it to show you this.
: 8 degrees is not too big a deal. Maybe it's possible your drift to the right
: was caused by something else? Wind? Heeling? Your temporary skin?
: Expectations?
Yes, it is possible to be from the temporary skin, but not the wind - it was very calm with almost no wind. Do you think that this twist is not too big to cause the drift? It was small drift BTW. When paddling the boat went strait.
: Good luck! BTW, there's always a next boat, and they get better each time.
: Yours looks good!
Thanks, my wife disagrees thought - the adventure of building even one was too big for her.
Thanks for your help and relief. I'm open for any further suggestions.
P.S. I'm sorry for any mistakes - my english is not very good.
