Hi -
I'm a newbie but have been reading the posts on this forum for a couple of months. I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem.

My 13 yr old son and I just started work on a S&G Pygmy Pinguino Sport. We glued our first set of panels together today using sheets of 8.5" x 11" transparency film to protect worktable under the butt joint. Much to our horror, the film delaminated and stuck to the underside (front) of the panels.

We are thinking that we need to sand the planks to remove the film. Any suggestions for alternatives? Tried a hot hairdryer but that didn't work.

Also, what do folks typically use to keep panels from gluing to the tables? The Pygmy manuel said to use plastic wrap but - unfortunately - I thought the transparency film would work better.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
