Here's a photo of the hull with two layers of S-glass. The photo is taken with a macro lens, very close up, so you can see the weave. The hull will get another layer of epoxy, then varnish, so the weave may appear more distant. From a distance, I don't really notice the weave.

The Kevlar, even at 2.2oz, was difficult to wet out, and is semi-transparent. Since the Kevlar is inside the cockpit, I don't mind the appearance.
