: paddle", but today I tinted my polyurethane varnish with artists oil
: and pained my Aleutian dart. It was pine wood and i have a nicely

: was "oil based". They guy gave me a great lecture on why a

: He also told me that artists oil pint would not work as a tint!!

Sales people, in general, are really good at telling you what they've been told, most have zero experience so have no real idea of what they are talking about. Can't believe everything you hear

I find tinting varnish with artists oil paints fun and it works great. Btw, works on wood too instead of stain.
