: It shouldn't be that difficult at all, actually. You can build toothpick
: bridges that hold several hundred pounds of direct load. It's a static
: load, but the bridges way less than a pound. I think getting the boat down
: to about 20-25 pounds shouldn't be difficult to do, though I suspect it's
: more trouble than it's worth to shave off the last couple of pounds. After
: my second paddle on Sunday I'm more comfortable with the weight (some more
: minor changes) and overall really like the boat.
