I had a kit for the strip NH.
I then went to the 2008 Okumefest.
I tested both S&G and Strip N Herons.
I liked the S&G so much better that it changed my whole attitude.
I felt that the S&G was exactly what I was looking for.
So I built S & G instead (Hope to launch in 15 days).
I think it is the hard chines on the S&G that made me feel more stable and in control.
I also like the pyramidal shape of the deck as opposed to the rounded stripper.
It gives clearance for a very high angle paddle stroke close to the deck.
Nick told me that the two should be very similar and would be more so if one were to round S&G chines more ,or sand the stripper with more of an edge.
I guess it is different strokes for different folks.
: I am working on the SG NH right now, ju
st shaping the panels. What is it that
: you found less desirable in the SG NH. I still have time to make a
: modification to the panels if I understand what you mean and it makes
: sense to me.
