I can see a couple of options.

1. Realize now you have proof that is indeed a handmade craft. If it is perfect, that gets hard for some people to believe ;)

2. Make sure the epoxy is nice and hard all the way through. Sand the discolored area down to the glass. Recoat with epoxy in that area.

Maybe someone else will have another suggestion, but that is what I come up with.
