Um...have you tried fitting in this thing? I pretty sure I'd not get close to fitting. I'm assuming you're an expert paddler? I'd make the diameter as large as I could and then I don't think the average person will fit.
Assuming the gunwales are 3/4" stock, the max beam will be 16 1/2", that's an awfully skinny boat.
