I have already bought the Teak oil. Traditionaly the Alut would add rouge to the oil to simbolize blood. We all know that a kayak is alive. It has its bones (wood), Tendons(sinew), spirit (spirit line and symbols), blood (the color of the oil) and skin. Althow I am building a Greenland kayak I am trying to incorporate these ideals into the kayak.
