Nope, doesn't have one. And, now that I've done gone and bought one, Brian Nystrom recommends press-in type lids as more reliable with sand and flex. Rats. I thought the screw in would be more reliable. Considering it's highly unlikely I can get this particular kayaker to go play in ocean inlets, let alone roll, I supposed I could just go get a press in type. She plans to be a lake paddler. I keep telling her once she sees some of us playing upside down, she may want to also, but I dunno...
I'll check measurements. Maybe I can start with this screw type, and if it becomes a problem, replace with press-in later.

: I don't know about Beckson hatch lids - I've never seen one. All the screw in
: hatch lids I have seen in the UK though have a place in the centre
: designed to accept a very small screw, for just this purpose. With the
: hath lid upside down (ie inside the hatch facing up) it is like a small
: tube sticking up in the centre of the lid: maybe 10mm high, 6mm outside
: diameter and 2mm inside diameter. Some hatches in fact come with a plastic
: tether with small loops on each end designed for screwing to this point.
: Don't suppose the Beckson has the same?
