Ok, Ken, this makes sense. I'll check out the link to Vaclav's site that Scott provided.

We are planning to use the remaining 3" tape from the kit to do the hull-to-deck seam, and we were figuring on cleaning up the woolly edge with a SureForm once the epoxy is firm but still green.

Might as well ask if folks think the 3" tape will work well enough, or if we should consider using bias cut? We would have plenty of glass to bias cut, because we are not going to use the deck glass. Since the tape is woven, I wonder that it will make the curves from hull to deck (well radiused, of course,) or if bias cut does a better job. Actually, I'm not really that worried, as I have a friend who's done fine with the left over 3" tape.
