Strip: underside of the deck

Hello, I just finished stripping the deck of my Shearwater Hybrid. I ripped my own strips and beveled the edges. Everything went well and the deck looks great. My question is about the underside of the deck. I over-beveled in several spots resulting in a gap between the strips on the underside. Do I fill these gaps with epoxy wood/flour mix before fiberglassing?
