Pretty common that strips will lift in the area of a tight curve.

Why not shoot a screw or two into the strips and into the form to close the gap. After you've glassed, remove the screw, fill the hole with a peg.

As a matter of fact, my build has the same problem and has two screws holding the curvature in place as i await epoxy and glass shipment.

In your case you might need to soften the glue bond near the affected area.
I use a heat gun for that..and a razor knife if needed.
