Ian,

This is the only pic I have of the finished stem. If you look closely (the Guilly is on the bottom rack) you may be able to see how it drops down a little below the bottom. It starts about 5' from the tip of the stern (underneath the boat) and slowly drops down about 5/8" just before it comes above the waterline then feathers back in at the tip. I tried to keep it from looking like an add-on.
