Thought I'd drop a line to say the NH S&G build is going well. I have all of the panels glued and wired together. Looks like I shaped the panels perfectly as the hull has taken on a beautiful shape with obvious distortions anywhere. Tonight I will be tying in the bulkheads and, with luck, tying the deck into place. I will glue the joints then separate the hull and deck and gettem glassed before the week is over.

I will not be staining the wood to show its grain as I used unmatched 4-mm okhume plywood that had filled voids in it and some shipping damage. Donnie (Waters Dancing owner) won't sell me the nice plywood as his stocks are low and he needs the wood for his kit sales. I am thinking of having the NH painted a metalic saphire blue in automotive paint with a clear coat to protect the paint. This is one kayak I will be kinda worried about, if ya know what I mean.
