Bill, I'm curious why you selected the Yakima risers and crossbars over simply adding 2" stock and would you share the particulars on your hull risers. I don't have a preference for putting the kayaks upright and if there are good side mounts available that would allow for up to 4 across then I wouldn't have to have a second tier.
