: in the ER with a mangled thumb from a flying piece of Western Red Cedar.
: Mind you that was a very small piece of wood that hit my thumb. One most
: people would not worry about. But it's not the size of the wood. It's the

: I didn't even know what happened. I just knew my thumb hurt bad and then I
: saw why. Yes and is scared me bad for a moment. I had to call a neighbor
: to drive me to the ER, I couldn't drive. And all this could have been

Circular saws take no prisoners and must be treated with caution bordering on fear.

I'm in the construction game and have seen some horrific accidents.

One day I was on a roof with a young carpenter,while he cut some roof battens.

The 9" Makita saw kicked back and all but cut off his foot.

Not a good thing having to carry a severly bleeding screaming kid over your shoulder down off the roof at 9.00am ,sort of ruins the rest of your day.

Be bloody carefull, or be bloody - take your pic!
