I always think in terms of 50/50 distribution, but you might find a little more weight in the stern could help with some weathercocking issues. Too much, and you'd get into leecocking territory. I sit pretty much with my back at the back of the coaming, and I find my Sea Rider's weathercocking to be minimal, and certainly manageable with an occasional sweep stroke in higher winds, compared to my old Perception Shadow.
