These are greenland style boats, they "are" tiny inside. They require a different fit for you than a "conventional" kayak does. You tend to sit with the knees at the edges of the boat with your heels touching and your feet splayed into a V shape. Even then it's snug and you have to point your feet somewhat to fit. After a few hours of paddling in this position it's not all that uncomfy.

I've raised the deck ridge on a couple of Tom's boats to give more foot room, not all that difficult.
