I got the inside of the hull done with glass tapes yesterday. Today I have to pick up more resin/hardener and then I will put glass strips on the underside of the deck. Tomorrow, if I find time (highly unlikely but possible), I will sand the hull and deck, varnish them then tie them together. That should set me up to glass the outside of the kayak this weekend. Now remember, this is an ideal to be achieved by an idealist: life gets in the way sometimes. That said, I aim to get this kayak wet next weekend on a trial run to see how she runs on the water. I will worry about the coaming and hatches the week after.
