: I'm about to place an order for two fiberglass rollers. I'm thinking about
: getting the 1/2" x 2" and 5" rollers, and was wondering how
: many replacement rollers I should get? Will I have enough time to clean
: the rollers before the resin(slow hardener) begins to set? The prices seem
: alittle high at the website below, or are they about the same everywhere?
: Also, for scarf joints, will the resin bond to Visqueen, or do I need to get
: a different type of plastic sheeting?
: thanks
You don't need those kind of bubble eliminating rollers unless you will apply four layers of glass wet-out at the same time or if you use fiberglass mat.
Go over your one layer of 6 or 4 oz. glass with a plastic squeegee cut from a milk carton and remove excess resin and bubbles in one pass.
Are you working from someone's instructions?
Good Luck,
Rob
