Restoring old machines is a hobby I guess. I do it because I find old machines superior to most new ones. Restoring an old one is lot cheaper if you careful and you can get near commercial quality too. Lots of weight and stability. Better quality of construction, ect.

I ended up with a mostly Delta shop because I fond an almost complete 1940's cabinet shop of machines. All had been in storage for 20 years but were complete and intact. I have restored most of them and added a few machines to my shop too.

My latest is not on the web site yet. A 1915(??) Wysong Mortiser. It was originally a line shaft machine but has had a motor added to it.
