have none at the moment, and am going for "shakedown cruise" today

it has 3 parts: the mount which is built to fit over stern and is bolted thru the perimeter cord hole (cord passes across a foot afore). it has a rectangular slot wider at stern end into which is fitted the adjuster which holds the blade with a single bolt that acts as axle and assembler. the up down cords pass thru holes in the front end of this adjuster.

fine tuning is achieved with shims on either (or both) sides of the adjuster on the axle bolt. After all, it is not easy to get the alignment perfect - the kayak might veer to one side.

from a distance it looks like any modern rudder of this type. it cocks up to about 40 deg as it is no good getting it jammed in the up position - a limiting stop is provided.

this is best can do with only 10 minutes to spare...
