I glassed my Night Heron S&G yesterday using a squeegee for the everything except the stern and bow where I used a polyester throw-away brush. There are no bubbles under the glass and it went on very smoothly. The job took me under 1 1/2 hrs using large batches of epoxy - garage temperature roughly 69 F. I dumped copious amounts of epoxy on the center of the hull and spread it out quickly, using strokes that alternated in opposite directions to keep the glass stretched not too tightly over the wood. Had I used a roller the job would have taken a lot longer (prior experience speaking) and I may or may not have had to worry about bubbles.
Once you get the glass down and epoxied, go over it with gloved hands and a brush and tap out any bubbles with epoxy-wet bristles...that does the trick quite nicely.
