: I glassed my Night Heron S&G yesterday using a squeegee for the everything
: except the stern and bow where I used a polyester throw-away brush. There
: are no bubbles under the glass and it went on very smoothly. The job took
: me under 1 1/2 hrs using large batches of epoxy - garage temperature
: roughly 69 F. I dumped copious amounts of epoxy on the center of the hull
: and spread it out quickly, using strokes that alternated in opposite
: directions to keep the glass stretched not too tightly over the wood. Had
: I used a roller the job would have taken a lot longer (prior experience
: speaking) and I may or may not have had to worry about bubbles.
: Once you get the glass down and epoxied, go over it with gloved hands and a
: brush and tap out any bubbles with epoxy-wet bristles...that does the
: trick quite nicely.
