Hi,

This is overdue as I launched this kayak in May and displayed it at the meet at the beach, but since I solicited advice on how to get the end pours corrected, I figure I finally post this to let you know how it turned out.

I am now racing this kayak in local races leading up to the Blackburn Challenge and later in the year the Mayors Race. Not competitive yet, but the goal itself helps getting fitter.

Onto my wife's kayak, which will be a SOF baidarka design by Tom Yost (either Nikumi 19 or this new Rolldarka I just read about), then later this summer, I'll try my hands on a new design using some unusual material specifically for long open water races.

This is turning out an interesting new hobby.
