: No. Removing the upright wall is not a good idea but you can scallop it from
: each side to gain heel room. You can also pull the thigh braces out and
: fit perfectly against the deck. The wall is not so much for bouyancy as it
: is for support. I would however add split bags in the stern to displace
: any water in the event of capsize. The Crossfire is my kayak of choice for
: WW. It may be old school or even pre-school but performs great.

Thankyou both. I was going to use it mainly for just leisure on Rivers/canals etc without the WW and more of a pleasure craft. Both I have bought are very good and I know the reputation of the Dagger is second to none but still a bit tight. I will have a look at it with possibly doing as said, Scallop out a bit. If wrong forum I appologise to all. Sorry!
