:Hi Danny- I have done it both ways. I think doing the seal coat makes for a more "relaxed" wet out experience. On this double, I tried System 3 Silver Tip and it was great to work with. If you can find some of the suggestions Rob Macks has written on doing a light weight layup, it is worth checking out.
