Couple things. It makes for a really interesting kayak. Also will display for everyone to view any and all mistakes you make on the frame

Other downside is that it's not abrasion resistant at all, you have to be really careful of any boat covered with that stuff.

Also have to use a certain amount of care in the selection of paddling clothing .
