: curve along the keel line. TRAK changes the shape via the gunwales. One
: may wonder how much of that curve gets in the water. I expect the need a

: the much simpler idea of creating bulge at the stern to give light trim

If you look around a couple of people have done the section of the stern moving as a rudder, Epic most recently. Most end up with a ventral fin of some sort because the flow of water around the stern doesn't do much when the boat is going straight or nearly so, so needs extra fin area to compensate. Mirage down under has been doing it for years too.

Doing it SOF would be fun though, would be an interesting project
